Drama School Experience

Zuri has been attending Stagecoach for the past seven years, and it has become an integral part of her life. Her favourite part of drama school is the creativity and freedom it allows her to express. From learning new techniques to experimenting with roles, every session brings something exciting and fulfilling.

Some of Zuri’s most memorable performances include her role in “Matilda” and the school productions of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” She fondly recalls the joy of bringing these beloved characters to life and the camaraderie she shared with her peers during rehearsals and performances.

Among all the roles she has played, Zuri especially enjoyed her characters in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Shrek.” She loved the opportunity to dive into their unique personalities and explore the humour and depth they offered. These roles challenged her to push her boundaries and develop her skills further.

At drama school, Zuri has learned invaluable lessons from her teachers and peers. From mastering improvisation in drama to understanding choreography in dance and refining her voice in singing, every discipline has contributed to her growth as a performer. The encouragement and constructive feedback from her teachers have been instrumental in building her confidence.

Beyond the stage, drama school has had a profound impact on Zuri as a person. It has helped her develop teamwork, communication skills, and self-discipline. She has grown into a more confident and expressive individual, ready to take on new challenges in her journey as a performer.
